Grape variety: A combination of indigenous and international red grape varieties
Vinification: the grapes are harvested by hand and placed in boxes, the wine-making process takes time with prolonged maceration on the grape skins
Maturation: the wine follows the “Rubra” journey therefore maturation in wood and bottle for 24 months, using large untoasted wooden barrels

The winery’s flagship wine, Alfonso Alfonzi is a result of a blend of wines produced from red grape varieties in outstanding vintages. These are then aged in oak. Vibrant ruby red, with great complexity and soft tannins the bouquet is full of spicy aromas from black pepper to coffee as well as notes of small red fruits. The wine is enchanting, soft and dry with a long finish. It is perfect with cured meats as well as grilled and roasted red meats and also makes a great accompaniment to meditation.
